Location:  Washington, DC

Nodi Solutions is seeking a consultant to work with a Department of Homeland Security client providing event and communications product management. 

Responsibilities may include:

  • Implement the events coordination process and standard operating procedures to provide full lifecycle events management support. 

  • Identify and vet potential speaking engagements through a set of criteria, such as audience, scope, location, existing and potential key relationships. 

  • Manage event requests through the formal approval process.

  • Provide comprehensive event planning

  • Work closely with other branches and external affairs office to maximize coordination and awareness of scheduled events and recognize opportunities to cross-promote organizational priorities

  • Use a variety of event mediums to reach more people with greater frequency, such as webinars and virtual town halls

  • Develop and manage communications products and public facing website content

 Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience

  • BA or BS degree

  • Experience managing events and stakeholder engagement

  • Excellent communications skills to include written and oral.  Ability to communicate at all levels of interaction

  • Ability to multi-task and respond to quick turn-around requests.  Strong organizational skills required.

  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance and DHS Suitability

 Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience performing events management for a government program

  • Experience working with DHS components
